I am a creative problem-solver who believes “why” is one of the most powerful question a strategist can ask. Digging into “why” is simply part of my innate curiosity, and has led me to reframe brand problems, uncover consumer insights and unlock powerful strategic ideas for global brands.

I hold an M.S. from the VCU Brandcenter where I received vigorous training in brand strategy. I have experience working on both category leaders and challengers to develop campaigns that connect with consumers as people, not as acquisitions. I have great empathy for the consumers and believe communication is most powerful when grounded in the real behaviors and beliefs of actual people. That’s why I seeks out the voice of the consumer and leads primary research projects at the start of projects whenever possible.

I have developed strategies for several travel and CPG brands including:, Bolthouse Farms, Sheraton Hotels, and Westin Hotels & Resorts. I am currently a senior strategist at Venables Bell & Partners working on the 3M brands — Post-it® Brand, Scotch-Brite, ScotchBlue, Filtrete, and Nexcare.

I love to experience life, and then reflect upon it. I’ve kept a journal since I was seven, and over the last year have worked to translate those memories and personal reflections into memoir pieces and personal essays. I completed a semester-long writing class at the Writing Salon in San Francisco last fall.
